14 Years of Inspired Design

Designing kitchens and bathrooms isn’t just my profession — it’s been the foundation of my career for more than a decade. My journey started in 2012 with an architectural drafting certificate, where I first fell in love with space planning, technical drawings, and the puzzle of making a room work beautifully. I went on to earn my Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh and began sharpening my ability to balance function, budget, and aesthetics while working at La-Z-Boy®.

In 2016, an internship with a local interior designer introduced me to kitchen and bath design — and it immediately felt like home. As a Senior Interior Designer for nearly eight years with Mars area Design/Build firm, I designed and project-managed more than 300 residential renovations, guiding homeowners from the first consultation through final installation. That hands-on experience taught me not only how to design a space, but how it’s actually built — and how to keep the process clear, organized, and far less stressful.

My Mission & Vision

My mission is to create elevated, thoughtful kitchens, baths, and indoor-outdoor living spaces that feel luxurious yet livable — designed with intention, proportion, and craftsmanship in mind.  And my vision includes a remodeling experience that feels calm, transparent, and client-driven.

With Eminence Interiors, you hire me directly for professional design services. I help you make informed decisions, curate and source cabinetry/fixtures/finishes through trusted vendors, and advocate for design clarity and quality — so your project stays cohesive from start to finish.

Hi, I'm Julie magister

My design philosophy is simple: the best spaces happen when creativity is paired with structure. Clients often tell me they feel listened to — that I take “vague ideas” and turn them into a plan that’s functional, personal, and beautifully resolved. I’m known for guiding selections with intention (not overwhelm), presenting smart options aligned with your preferences, and helping you feel confident at every decision point.

I also believe luxury is not about excess — it’s about quality, proportion, and spaces that support real life. As a wife and mother of two living in Cranberry, I understand that kitchens and bathrooms are the hardest-working rooms in a home. My goal is to bring you an experience that’s warm, organized, and professional — and a finished space that feels like it was always meant to be yours.
